Achieving a nature-positive ocean: science and systemic action

Despite its importance as the largest habitat on Earth, as an engine of economic productivity, and as a source of collective inspiration, the ocean is rarely at the center of conversations, frameworks, and approaches to charting a nature-positive future. New and emerging scientific guidance, tools, and approaches present a significant opportunity to change this – enabling the attention, research, and resources necessary to restore and regenerate our ocean, to support a nature positive future for us all. This interactive workshop will spotlight new and emerging guidance, tools, and approaches, based on the latest science, that offer companies and other actors operating in the ocean economy with a timely opportunity to internalize the nature positive goal into their business models and operating principles.
